My very fist job was scooping ice cream and I had a blast! Even at a young age I knew that when I could give something to a person and make them smile, I was doing something great. That is probably one of the reasons why I chose to make hair my profession.

I started in the beauty industry in the 2000’s by graduating from cosmetology school. It was there that I found my passion for cutting, creating, styling, coloring…basically all things hair related. While I was in school, I started freelancing as a stylist for weddings. I was drawn to that aspect of the industry because I enjoyed being a part of such a memorable moment in a person’s life.

After graduating I worked in several states as a hair stylist at different salons. When I landed in Richmond I felt at home and really began focusing on making a name and a clientele for myself. I am currently a full time stylist at 1213 Hair Studio and still make time for my love of weddings by being a stylist at BRIDEface Richmond. Being able to develop what was once a hobby years ago, into a career, is something very special and not something everyone gets to do. I will never take that for granted!

When I am not working, I spend my time hanging out with my pup Bella, traveling, and enjoying the restaurants and outdoor activities that Richmond has to offer with my fiancé. I hope to meet you soon and share a bit of joy with you for your big day!
