When people find out what I do for a living they say, “You must have the coolest job ever!” And you know what? I really do! I get to be a part of so many special events in people’s lives and share that moment with them. What could be better? As one bride said to me, “You are not only an amazing artist, you also get to do something so few people can; you get to make me feel pretty and confident!”

It is hard to believe that I have been in this industry for 23 years. My humble beginnings started when I was learning how to do fantasy makeup for stage. While I loved that, I felt like I needed to be doing something more “real”.
I changed course and started working for the luxury cosmetic lines. I had the great fortune of being trained by some of the best in the biz: Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown and Ross Burton to name a few. During these years I had the privilege to be a National Artist, a Global Artist and a Training Director. It was there where I was introduced to the wonderful world of Fashion Week, runway shows, and Emmy parties! I wish as a guest, but getting to work them was truly amazing. While I loved every minute of it, I realized that I was missing out on my own life because of all the travel. I was still looking for that “realness”.
So, I took a leap of faith and struck out on my own. With the love and support of my family and friends BRIDEface Richmond took off and I haven’t looked back.
I now have the opportunity to help every woman find her beauty!
I am so fortunate to have my own business and to have such a wonderful partnership with our sister company in the Ohio/Kentucky region. When I am not teaching classes, working on photo shoots, or bringing out the gorgeousness of my clients, you can either find me at home with my pets, jogging or biking the trails of our beautiful city, or playing the violin with multiple groups throughout the Richmond, VA area. I also volunteer at Richmond Animal Care and Control which is a non-profit organization that BRIDEface Richmond has chosen to support. If you love makeup and animals then I am the artist for you!

I feel so lucky that I get to say I had as much fun getting ready for my wedding as I did at my actual ceremony and reception.
